If I have emailed you regarding a link/banner exchange, and you can’t find your link/banner on my index page or links page, then the most likely reason is that, In the interest of fairness, if I didn't recieve a response to my link/banner exchange request within about four or five weeks, I assumed you weren’t interested in a link/banner exchange with me, and took your link/banner down. If of course, it has just taken longer than four weeks for you consider my request, and you are interested in a banner/link exchange, please just let me know, and I will be more than happy to add you again ASAP :-)
The reason for this decision is that, In a system where no answer to link/banner exchange requests, means 'not interested', (one rarely ever gets a ’no thanks’) - it’s not fair to be sending a site traffic/contributing to another sites PR, if no reciprocation takes place, and/or I am not likely to be informed that my link is not going to be reciprocated. I am also about to embark on a heavy marketing and ad campaign, in the interest of fairness I have to have some limitation on the amount of time my links page promotes another website without reciprocation.
I understand some webmasters/mistresses update links infrequently, if I have taken your link/banner down, just please let me know, and I will be more than happy to get your link/banner back up on this page very shortly :-)
I try to be fair, and will always politely inform if for some reason I were to refuse a link/banner exchange request. I hope you can understand this decision was made in the interest of fairness, and I very much appreciate your cooperation and understanding on this matter :-) Hunny xx
